User Data Deletion

Delete your Alloura data

You can delete your Alloura account and personal data at any time, using any of the options below. Once a deletion is complete, it can't be undone.

Option 1: In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Alloura and go to Settings → Account.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. You may be asked to re-enter your password or log in again.

Option 2: By email

Email admin@alloura.app from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my data". We may ask you to confirm your identity before we delete anything.

Option 3: If you logged in with Facebook or Instagram

Facebook

  1. Go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Find Alloura and select Remove.
  3. Tick the option to delete data Alloura may have received, then confirm.

Instagram

  1. Go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites.
  2. Select Alloura → Remove.

Removing Alloura in Meta stops us receiving new data from Facebook or Instagram. To also delete the data we already hold, use Option 1 or 2. [If you build a data deletion callback, replace this with: "We'll automatically receive your request and give you a confirmation code. You can check its status at [alloura.app/deletion-status?code=…]."]

What gets deleted

  • Your account, profile and login connections, including any Facebook or Instagram data we received.
  • Client profiles, photos, formulas and notes you created. If you're the salon owner, this applies to your salon workspace.
  • Inventory, booking and usage data linked to you.

What we may keep, and why

  • Transaction and tax records, for as long as the law requires (usually [7] years).
  • Records we need to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or meet a legal obligation.
  • De-identified, aggregated data that can no longer identify you.

If we can't delete something, we'll tell you what we're keeping and why.

How long it takes

We confirm your request within [3] business days. Deletion from live systems is finished within [30] days, and from backups within [90] days.

If you're a salon client

Your salon controls your profile and photos. Ask them to delete it. You can also contact us at admin@alloura.app and we'll work with the salon to handle your request.
